What in the world causes someone to change their direction of thinking...?! Someone in your life going through a hardship. I.E. I have a boyfriend, we've together off and on for about a decade now. He has cancer, there I said it. I am going to drive up with a friend to Seattle and take him to the VA hospital... this is destroying my drive to do anything... which includes my homework. I know he has a chance for survival after chemotherapy and radiation treatment, but it is a slim chance because of where the cancer is located in his body and him having an already hard time eating now (he has terrible pain in his chest after he eats). But this is my blog not his. I guess my heart goes out more than I realized and am afraid to lose him, and I understand this. The reason I decided to write was because I have this belief that we are here for a re

ason, and it isn't just for school and knowledge and making our lives easier. I try to look at it like the anti-gram of the word HOLY BIBLE... He Only Left You Basic Instruction Before Leaving Earth. He showed me this and it has helped me get through some very tough times... And I am having a harder time with this then any other time or situation.
One of the reasons instead of joining the military was the discussion of me continuing my education (my dream) and spending it with him afterwards, but now I have to consider the alternative and am having a hard time with this concept to spend my success alone. Which would have been better to enter the military...yeah I know about hindsight but that is not it...It is this, my children are grown and on their own, so this is my time...I know this..... What I am having a problem with is having to consider to complete this alone... He is my best friend and I love him and it is very hard to feel positive so I am sending this out to cyberspace to see if someone has advice...please remember...I am not married to him...and we need to stay strong...Thanks for reading
The change in direction in thinking is brought on by enlightenment. Not just in the spiritual sense but in a sense that fear is brought on by the unknown and the more you know, theoretically the less you are afraid of. But you also know more and that can be scary because you then begin to think deeper to increase your level of understanding and that my friend, changes the way you think.
ReplyDeleteInstead of fearing about being successful alone, share what you learn together now, because tomorrow isn't promised, whereas today is within your grasp.
